AWS re/Start is a free, full-time skills development program to jump-start your career working in cloud computing. A technology background is not required to apply and the program is focused on unemployed and underemployed individuals.

AWS re/Start and World Education Placement Services Sdn Bhd (WEPS) have teamed up to offer this tuition-free, online/classroom-based program in Malaysia. Through scenario-based learning, hands-on labs, and coursework, learners gain the skills they need for an entry-level cloud role. In the program, you’ll also focus on professional skills such as adaptive communication, time management, resume building, and interviewing to prepare for employer meetings and interviews. You will learn cloud computing skills and prepare for AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification with free access to practice and full exams. After you graduate, World Education Placement Services Sdn Bhd (WEPS) will connect you with employers and help you move into your new working life.

Certificate

AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Exam (CLF-C01) from AWS. This credential helps organizations identify and develop talent with critical knowledge related to implementing cloud initiatives. Earning AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner validates cloud fluency and foundational AWS knowledge.

Duration

  • Training – Full-time from Monday to Friday (from 9 AM to 5 PM)
  • 3 Months (12 Weeks)

Requirements

  • Unemployed Graduates (Diploma/Degree from IT/Non-IT field) OR
  • Underemployed Graduates in part-time, gig jobs or underpaid(Diploma/Degree); OR
  • Retrenched Workers under Employment Insurance System (EIS)
  • Malaysian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Have Computer/Laptop access with the following minimum specifications (for Online Classes)
  • Intel Processor i3/AMD 3, RAM 4GB, 500 GB hard drive
  • internal/external, webcam, mic, speaker
  • A Stable Internet Connection
  • Full-time availability to attend training Monday–Friday for the course duration (typically 12 weeks)
  • Ability to start a full-time job after course completion
  • Excitement to launch a career in cloud computing
